Fairs also let farmers communicate with each other regarding their invaluable trade.

This photo depicts the joy and beauty of mid-summer hiking in the New Hampshire mountains.
Hikers experience lowering temperatures as elevation increases, brisk refreshing winds, and oftentimes there are large patches of wild blueberries to snack on.

i went to Pease Tradeport (formerly AFB) in Portsmouth, NH today, July 4th, to help greet some sailors returning from Iraq. here is one of the better shots i got. i was on time according to the schedule, however the plane was early, so i missed what i really wanted to shoot- the look on their faces when several hundred people cheered as they got off the chartered plane. it was great to get to thank these men and women for their service to our country. they are good people and i'm glad they're safe now.
