Old man of the dam profile, originally uploaded by MemaNH. As we drove down Rt 25 in Warren, NH (I think it was) we saw a small sign that said "Old Man of the Dam Profile". It is all by itself on the edge of the road....nothing around it but this small ledge. (There is a dam about 1/4 mile south on the other side of the road but it can't be seen from the sign.)
I just had to stop to take a pic of the sign. I got out the passenger side and did my thing. My hubby is still in the driver's seat and is asking me if I could see the man in the ledge. When I got to his angle I could.
we had driven by there many times and never noticed it before.
