This is my favorite on the day from my trip up to Tucks. I was crossing the lowest wooden bridge over the Cutler River on the way down, and the sky was reflected perfectly. I think the surface of the water looks like metal, and I'm totally digging that log.
100 Pictures Project - #68: creek/river
Taken from Broad Bay on Ossipee Lake using my 300mm zoom lens on the 50D.
An incredibly windy day on Squam brought out the ice boaters. These guys were going really fast, clattering over the cracks and bumps on the ice. They'd hit a crosswind, and the sail would just roar. The clouds really give a sense of speed, I think...
I still want to know how they came back against the wind.
Salty's 18th of the 48 peaks in New Hampshire over 4,000 feet high. (His second in full calendar winter.)
I pass this farm every morning while bringing my kids to school. This morning, when we passed, the light was beautiful and I lamented not having enough time to stop. After dropping the kids off, I doubled back and was delighted to see the light had gotten even better :)
Kristin, Jeff, and I met at Ponemah Bog at sunrise today and afterwards, I introduced them to the Tucker Brook Town forest and Tucker Falls.

This image reminds me of ones that I have seen on Christmas cards.
